Advanced Pole Jacks

These pole jacks add length to your trekking pole for tents and tarps that require additional heights.  The tubing is sized specifically for trekking pole tips, unlike most jacks with a 1/2″ ID. The internal mechanism in the jack captures the carbide tip of the trekking pole, keeping the pole jack straight to reduce strain on your poles.  This mechanism is spring loaded to compensate for different length pole tips.

These work best with the baskets removed, but that is not required. The jack is 12 inches long, and will add ~10 inches to the height of your trekking pole. See pictures for details. The pole jacks in the images have a cut away so you can see the fit inside.
